Beloved, the Finger Pointing has to Stop!

Beloved, there has been no other time in history where there has been as much chatter as with the advent of information technology and, particularly, of social media. We have all fallen prey and have become addicted to expressing everything that comes to our carnal mind and putting it out there. The inherent problem with this is that every word and every comment that we type, just as every word spoken from our lips will be held to account by God. It is important to remember that the enemy is trying to do everything he can to flood our minds with the cares of this world to make us ineffective to see ourselves and our lives from God’s perspective. The purpose of social media, along with the MSM and entertainment, is, by design, to distract humanity from being able to think for itself and to, most importantly, thinking about God, seeking Him and, ultimately, discovering who we were all created to be in Christ, as part of God’s Family. The enemy uses the airwaves to keep humanity bound to the natural realm and trapped in his lower frequency, constantly tuning into his false narrative and imprisoned in the matrix that he created.

But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. - Matthew 12:36 - NKJV

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? . - Matthew 7:1 - NKJV

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. - Ephesians 2:1-3 - NKJV

We have all fallen prey to automatically expressing every emotion and every opinion out of our flesh, without the discipline of first taking the matter to the Lord before we hit “send.” We have become so conditioned to reacting to what people post online out of our emotions that we have allowed ourselves to be sucked in by the spirit of criticism and the spirit of judgment instead of speaking life of God’s Word into the virtual landscape. The enemy has facilitated the spirit of judgment to grow with the “Like” feature. Think about it, whenever we hit the “Like”, “Love”, “Sad”, or “Angry” button, we are, in fact, putting our hearts on our sleeves for the world to see. We are displaying the condition of our hearts to the enemy for him to use our emotions against us. It is important for us to remember that the enemy cannot read our minds. All he can do is make suggestions, hoping that we will bite and take his thoughts captive into our souls and, ultimately establishing his mindset, rooting it into our hearts.

When we operate out of the flesh in the spirit of criticism and judgment, this undoubtedly opens portals for the enemy to keep feeding those spirits and opening the gate for other spirits like the spirit of fear, the spirit of covetousness and the spirit of hate to enter into our souls and to enter into the souls of others through the words we speak or write. Whenever we express our emotions out of the flesh, criticizing and cursing others with our words, we are, in fact feeding the spirit of witchcraft — speaking the devil’s language — death. Whenever we speak death over something or someone it is always operating out of the spirit of witchcraft.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. - Proverbs 18:21 - NKJV

Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. - Psalm 34:13 - NKJV

It is very important for us to understand that satan is an “external entity.” All he can do is to observe what comes out of us through our spoken words and behavior to determine how best to keep us out of alignment. When we are in Christ, we are new creations and there is no more sin in us. We are no longer sinners, we are saints. This means that every thought from the enemy comes to our minds externally. Understand that we have the power to either choose to take every one of his thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, rebuking the devil in Jesus’ name or to entertain them and allowing them to hold us captive.

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 - NKJV

We must never forget that satan is the “prince of the air” and he is the one pulling the puppet strings — using his lower frequency to create anxiety, fear and division, not only between God’s people but the nations. The devil is the master of division, confusion and deception - he comes to kill, steal and destroy because he understands very well the power of agreement. The responsibility for us as followers of Jesus to be a light in the world has never been higher than it is right now. We have all become so accustomed to living more out of our soul (our mind, will and emotions) than out of the spirit of God to the point that we have forgotten why God has placed us here on earth in the first place. He has called and commissioned every one of us to be Jesus’ hands and feet to partner with Holy Spirit to fulfill our unique Kingdom assignments as part of His Great Commission for the Great Harvest of souls.

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, - Ephesians 2:1-2 - NKJV

7 In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to his direction, because it cannot! - Romans 8:7 - TPT

4 So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit! - Romans 8:4 - TPT

6 For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace. - Romans 4:6 - TPT

The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’ - Exodus 15:9 - NKJV

It is crucial that we invite God to search our hearts, that we repent before Him of every sin and ask the Holy Spirit to purge everything from our souls that is not of Him. As long as we hold on to the garbage, poison and false narrative of the enemy, we are incapable of operating as pure vessels of God’s love. In addition, we need to ask Him to give us greater discernment and to give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him and His grace to operate out of our true identity in Christ. As new creations in Christ, when we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that is when we are given the power not to sin just as Jesus received it, when He was anointed by the Holy Spirit by our Heavenly Father in the Jordan. It was only then that Jesus was able to be led into the wilderness to be tempted by satan in every way that we are, with the power of the Holy Spirit to choose not to sin.

“Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God had anointed him. - Acts 10:38 - TPT

But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and you will be seized with power. You will be my messengers to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces —even to the remotest places on earth!” - Acts 1:8 - TPT

Remember, the devil is a lion with no teeth! He can only operate in the power that you give him. He needs a human host, created in God’s image, with His creative power to operate. This is why the enemy attempts to deceive God’s sons and daughters into believing that they are still sinners instead of new creations in Christ.

32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again. - Hebrews 11:32-35 - NKJV

22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” - Daniel 6:22 - NKJV

Beloved, instead of finger-pointing, declare what God says about you and about others. Speak life in the power of His love! Ask Him to give you His eyes to see the gold He has placed in their hearts - to help them see themselves the way that God sees them and has created them to be. It is time to stop repeating what the enemy is already speaking and reporting and choose to stop speaking what you see with your natural eyes. Instead, speak the Truth of what your Abba is speaking from the Throne of Heaven. Remember the devil is the accuser of the brethren. The time is fast approaching when God’s hammer of justice shall silence his voice.

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. - Colossians 3:12-13 - NKJV

14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. - Colossians 3:14-15 - NKJV

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. - Revelation 12:10 - NKJV
